Among them, Hanafuda is a Japanese card game, which appeared in the 16th century and was imported to the United States by Nintendo in the 1930s. You can try your hand at the two variants, Hana-Awase and Koi-Koi, in games against other players.

Komainu Yosakoi are back this year to present and introduce you to yosakoi!

Yosakoi is a Japanese dance that mixes tradition and festivity and can be practiced at any age. The colorful coverings make yosakoi one of the most colorful and enjoyable traditional Japanese shows to watch. Equipped with their narukos, a wooden instrument producing a pleasant clapping sound when in harmony, the yosakoi also offers a pleasant entertainment for the ears.

We are pleased to announce that Nintendo, the famous company behind iconic game series such as Mario, The Legend of Zelda or Metroid, will be there! Join us as we play your favorite classic games on Nintendo Switch, or check out what’s coming soon. The Gaming Federation will also be at Japan Impact this year, with several games available for experienced gamers or beginners. And for those of you who like challenges, tournaments will be organized! For dance game lovers, we invite you to join our friends at Just Dance Swiss Club for some wild dance sessions! Finally, the Touhou-Bohu association will immerse you in the captivating and rich universe of Touhou Project, with its wide choice of game styles ranging from danmaku to versus fighting, all accompanied by sumptuous music and the colorful characters that inhabit this universe.

[ONGOING ACTIVITY] Swiss Cosplay Family is an incredible group that brings together over 400 active cosplayers in Switzerland and promotes solidarity, friendship and passion for cosplay. Founded in 2012 by enthusiasts, the group’s main goal is to create a united community where every cosplayer can help each other and grow. During Japan Impact, you can discover the talents of the Swiss Cosplay Family through stunning demonstrations, from cosplay creation using 3D printers, to leather and EVA foam work. And that’s not all! You can also explore their museum where the most beautiful Swiss cosplays awarded or represented in European and international competitions in 2022 are displayed.
