[PARTNERSHIP] It is with great pleasure that we announce our renewed partnership with Melectronics, who will accompany us again this year! During Japan Impact, come and discover the Melectronics booth, where you can buy products for geek and Japanese culture lovers, as well as textiles in their sales room where you can also immortalize your new clothes with their photo booth. And that’s not all! Melectronics has invited three talented artists, Elsa Brants (author of “Save Me Pythie”), Reno Dreamland (creator of the “Dreamland” series) and Jessica Jung (illustrator of “Legends of Parodia”), to compete in a drawing battle on stage. [CONFERENCE] We all know North American cartoons, Japanese anime and some quality French productions. But what about Swiss cartoons? Does it exist? The answer is yes, and Art of Léo will come and talk about it during a conference. Art of Lé0 will talk about her job as an animator in Switzerland, which she has been doing for 7 years. You can find her during a conference on Saturday in Usagi room and on Sunday in Osaka room, you can also find her at the Poké’mon IRL booth during the rest of the event!

[CONCERT] Come and discover at Japan Impact a unique and very original experience presented by Rinch Ry . This unusual music group offers you a rhythmic multimedia concert, telling you a story through projected manga plates and their fantastic music. This multi-dimensional show will introduce you to Understella, a musical manga with animated manga plates, 2D animation, and a narration through songs representing a new chapter of the story. So, if you are the kind of person who listens to your favorite music while reading your manga, or if you are intrigued to immerse yourself in this original artistic fusion, come to the RINCH concert on Saturday February 18th and Sunday February 19th at Japan Impact!

[GUEST] Come and discover Caly, a French mangaka, during Japan Impact! She will lead 2 workshops dedicated to Chibi drawing, as well as a Lavis ink drawing workshop. Lavis is a drawing technique which appeared in China in the 6th century, it uses a single color, more or less diluted. You can also meet her at her booth, where she will offer for sale and sign her Nova series. Nova highlights the meeting between a 13 years old schoolboy and a mysterious girl who came to inspect the boy’s health after an invasion of aliens called EKSAA.

[ONGOING ACTIVITY]

Every 30 minutes, in the Myôga room, Sansui Zen Dojo will teach you what zazen is and then offer you to experience the great mental calm that this practice provides for 10 minutes. He will then be available to answer all your questions.
